In 2005, three highly ambitioned musical individuals who share the same passion in performing music of various styles through the eras got together and started playing music as the Trio named „Quergestrichen“. The musical curiousness of the members of Quergestrichen has led to a rich repertoire of well known pieces but also rarely performed gems reaching from the baroque era to contemporary music.
The uncommon combination of flute, violin and viola enables entering new musical territory. The fact that there are quite few original pieces is a huge motivation for finding connections between string and wind chamber music, rearranging music or presenting traditional works in a new sound.
We enjoy playing full concerts. Furthermore, Quergestrichen is a perfect partner for weddings, baptisms, birthday parties, mother's days, business events and many other occasions.
